Learn how workspace users can manually join a library or request library access in Air

Who can join a library?
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on enterprise Air plan
✏️ Anyone that has access to view workspace

👀 Looking to manage library users via SAML? 👀

In SAML-managed Enterprise workspaces, library access can be provisioned through IdP group mappings and controlled by the IdP mapping instead. Removing a user from a mapped IdP group can remove their library membership, even if they are the library's only owner.

To join a library that anyone can join:

  1. Hover over the Libraries header in the sidebar
  2. Select the edit menu (three dots)
  3. Select Browse Libraries
  4. Identify the library you wish to join
  5. Select 'Join'

To request to join a library:

  1. Hover over the Libraries header in the sidebar
  2. Select the edit menu (three dots)
  3. Select Browse Libraries
  4. Identify the library you want to request membership to
  5. Select 'Request to join'
