# Enabling session management

Keep your workspace secure: How to set up inactivity logout and session timeouts

**Who can enable Inactivity Logout + Session Timeout settings?**

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any `Enterprise` **Air plan**  
✏️ Anyone with **admin** access to the workspace  
⏲️ **_Workspace users take note!_**  
- If you are a user of multiple workspaces, you're bound by the _most restrictive_ inactivity timeout across all your workspaces, so that every workspace’s inactivity timeout is respected.

- A user is considered active if they’re moving their mouse/cursor, typing, uploading, downloading, or importing on Air.

## Inactivity timeout

1. From your workspace settings, in the left sidebar select Security & Identity
2. Under 'Session management', toggle on enable inactivity timeout
3. Under 'Timeout' select a timeout duration from the options in the dropdown

## Session duration

1. From your workspace settings, in the left sidebar select Security & Identity
2. Under 'Session management', toggle on enable session duration
3. Under 'Duration' select a session number and timeframe from the options in the available dropdowns
