Who can receive notifications from Air?

✏️ Anyone with view access to the workspace, library, or board

Air notifications help you stay in the loop and never miss a thing. They're like your trusty sidekick, keeping you up to date with all the happenings in your creative process. Air sends you web app notifications for activity including the following:

• @-mentions in any asset or file discussions
• Replies to a discussion thread you are participating in
• Custom field changes on a board, asset, or file within followed boards
• Sub-board creation by users within followed boards
• Downloads within share links you create

Feed

If you have unread notifications, Air displays a red badge with a count on the Notifications item in the main sidebar. In the side navigation, select Notifications to open your in-app notifications feed.

Air's notifications feed consists of 4 categories:

• All - Every notification sent to you within a given workspace
• Mentions - Notifications specific to your mentioned user within an asset or file discussion
• Following - Notifications specific to the internal activity of a board or boards you are following
• Links - Notifications specific to activity on a share link you created for an asset, board or multi-share link on Air.

Email

Workspace specific notifications can be sent to your email inbox in real-time and based on your preferences. Get notified about new comments on an asset or file, or downloads from the links that you share. Never miss an @-mention. Just like Slack + Teams, you're able to be brought back to every thread you start or participate in.

Air's real time email notifications let you know what's happening, where it's happening and who is doing it. You'll have a simple update to the latest going on for the things that matter most to you and an easy way to navigate to your workspace from the email body.

In-App

Notifications are account-specific and workspace-specific, meaning only you can see and manage your notifications, and they will display notifications only for the current workspace.

Easily navigate to the source of a notification by clicking on the notification within the feed. Click on the notification to mark it as "read" or select "Mark all as read" to clean up your notification feed.

Email Digest

Air checks twice a day for any unread web app notifications and sends an email digest your way. Use email digest notifications when you need a quick rundown of what you missed overnight and all that went on while you were working hard on other projects during the business day.

🔔 Boards you create in an Air workspace are automatically followed. Actions taken on these boards will prompt qualifying notifications.

📧 Email notifications are automatically enabled as a default setting for Air workspace users.

👨‍👧‍👦 Unfollowing a parent board does not automatically unfollow any sub-boards within.

Slack

Air's Slack integration pushes notifications to a selected Slack channel, allowing you to follow workspace activities with real-time notifications. In addition, you can preview Air content or link directly to an Air board or asset from the notification message.
