Capture inspiration without breaking your flow. With the Air Web Clipper Chrome extension, you can right-click a web image, choose **Save to Air**, pick a Canvas or Board destination, edit the image name and description, and open the saved asset in Air. No more downloading, flipping between tabs, or saving files to your desktop.

The Air Web Clipper is perfect for speeding up visual research and creative planning. Here are a few ways teams use it daily:

- **Mood boards and inspiration gathering:** Quickly collect visual references from around the web to build creative directions.
- **Pre-production research:** Gather location shots, styling ideas, and lighting references in one central place.
- **Competitive intel and teardown references:** Capture competitor designs, ad creatives, or landing page layouts for analysis.

## From Chrome Web Store

Add the Air Web Clipper to your browser from the [Air Web Clipper page on the Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/hkjcdamnlcmgmjfibnfkoaklhflbbmkd?utm_source=item-share-cb). Select **Add to Chrome**, then confirm the browser permission prompt to add the extension.

## Save images to Air

Once the extension is installed, you can save a web image directly to a Canvas or Board in your workspace.

Right-click an image on any webpage and select **Save to Air**. The extension panel opens with a thumbnail preview of the captured image, the source webpage, your active workspace, destination tabs and search, and a save action for the destination you select, such as **Add to canvas** or **Save to board**.

Use the workspace selector to confirm where you are saving, then choose the Canvas or Board where the image belongs. Update the **Name** or **Description**, then save ahead of adding to your workspace.

## Organizing and editing your clipped assets

After saving an image, it is available in the selected board or canvas. The confirmation screen includes **View in Air** so you can open the saved asset in your workspace.

**View in your Boards:** Images saved to a board appear directly in the board you selected, ready for you to organize with tags, custom fields, or sub-boards.

**Edit in your Canvas:** Images saved to a canvas are available in the selected canvas, where you can use Air's AI-powered tools to generate variants, resize, or adjust the image directly.
